The iconic Leica M-System has accompanied dedicated photographers worldwide over decades, giving them a superior tool for witnessing their time and creating outstanding pictures. The new M11 will continue this legacy with outstanding technology, based on the experience since 1925.

A Leica photographer from Kuwait that believes in capturing moments through his own vision and creativity, this allows him to transform his photographs and tell a story he wants to convey. As Abdullah began his journey around the Kuwait city, a stop at Bait Al Arab to capture the beauty of Arabian horses was unmissable, followed by a tour of the mosques that showcase the stunning Muslim architecture that he captures in a series called “The Call of Minarets” and completed his adventure at the Kuwait desert where he photographed the desert with its fascinating colors and light, which brought a sense of serenity to his mind.

Mohammad Ashkanani

“Photography has always been a hobby, not a profession. It’s a huge part of my life and a passion that I live for.”

Mohammad believes in capturing simplicity with the utmost attention to details, this is where his love for “unseen moments” – as he choses to call this series comes from. He is a pilot and photographer from Kuwait, where he discovered his passion for street photography and works towards connecting all elements that make an unusual photograph. Mohammad travels all over the world with his camera and finds the M system to be his ultimate companion on his various trips. He believes the pleasure of photography enables creativity and imagination beyond belief.

Amit Kar

“Ultimately my purpose as a photographer is to contribute to the collective story of the human experience.”

Amit found his purpose in photography and his approach is reactive, emotional and varied. He took on this project with a mindset of showcasing the place he calls home in a different light. The theme of the series was named ‘Dubai: A Tale of Two Cities’ solely because it aims to portray a balance view of the city. He shows through his video that there is a connection between old Dubai and the new, the series is about one city building on its’ history and diversity as it prepares itself for the future. His aim to convey something profound via his photography that took him on this adventure around the city with the M11.
